This year we welcomed districts both big and small – from Hillsborough County Public Schools in Florida, the 8^th largest school district in the United States, to Johnson-Brock Public Schools, a one school district in Nebraska. The commonality among such a broad range of customers is they all suffer from the same problem, too much to do with too few of resources to do it.
An uncovered inefficiency is the inordinate amount of time front office personnel dedicate to bookkeeping. Front office administrators wear many different hats. An important hat is instructional support – assisting the teachers, parents, children and school leadership in matters that have a direct impact on the student.
Investing in efficiency in the school front office has broader implications across school operations. In addition, when many of the manual processes can be automated, employees can dedicate their time to the intangible things that make school a nurturing and caring center for learning. Many customers have said they have seen a noticeable improvement in job satisfaction as well.

Saving 15 Minutes Per Transaction Equals an Entire Month of Bookkeeping Time Savings
ClassWallet is in our third year where 100% of a growing number of school district customers have renewed. We spent a good deal of time learning about the impact ClassWallet has had on their operations. Consistently we hear that ClassWallet saves 15 minutes in bookkeeping time per transaction. Several customers equated ClassWallet’s impact to 160 hours of bookkeeping time saved per school. That’s an entire month of time! Many customers put dollar figures to the savings, as high as $80,000 per year. This leads to a culture in which teachers don’t feel trusted and one that is not conducive to attracting and retaining Millennials.
