From the CEO
Greetings,
The school year is weeks away and we have been gearing up for our busiest year to date. Already ClassWallet is poised to be in 1,200 schools across 14 states. There are many more school districts – and states – we are in negotiation with, so we expect that number to grow even more. We are most excited to welcome Miami-Dade County Public Schools into the ClassWallet family. Located right in our backyard, we are excited to be serving one of the largest school districts in the nation.
We love receiving emails like this one from a school bookkeeper:
“My teachers are LOVING ClassWallet!!”
Exciting News
Miami-Dade County Public Schools Signs with ClassWallet
Miami-Dade County Public Schools (MDCPS) is the 5th largest school district in the United States. You can imagine the overhead expense of tracking purchases, managing reimbursements and collecting receipts for 18,000 teachers. To reduce costs, MDCPS has chosen ClassWallet to allocate and manage procurement for a portion of its budget designated for classroom resources.
New ClassWallet Freemium Package Gaining Popularity
Recently, ClassWallet introduced a Freemium package that has quickly become our most popular product – it has been adopted for 375 schools in the three months since we introduced it. The freemium package allows administrators unlimited number of budget allocations to an unlimited number of principals, teachers and coaches who in turn shop online with most of our retail partners such as Office Depot, Really Good Stuff, School Specialty, Scholastic and dozens more. ClassWallet automates the tracking and reconciliation. Interested in learning more about Freemium, click here.
ClassWallet Enters the Bayou
We are excited to manage our first district budget allocation in Louisiana. Ascension Parish School District, just outside of Baton Rouge, went live with ClassWallet. Each time ClassWallet enters a new state, 100% of districts renew and several more districts contract with us. We look forward to doing more business in Louisiana.
New and Improved User Experience
When teachers speak, we listen. We collected the best (and the not so best) feedback from our users and released a new and improved user experience. The new experience makes it easy for users to launch into the many applications on our platform, and specifically provides users with an enhanced reimbursement workflow. Still more to come!
